MINUTES OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE MONTESSORI EDUCATION CENTRE – CHARTER SCHOOL

ACCORDING TO ARS 38-431.01

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING HELD JULY 9, 2021

A public meeting of the Montessori Education Centre – Charter School Board of Directors was convened at 8:30am on July 9, 2021 in the Director’s Office at 2834 E. Southern Ave, Mesa, Arizona. The members of the Montessori Education Centre – Charter School Board of Directors present at the meeting via Zoom; Laura Davis (Craig), Rachel Lichtenberger, Jacquelyn Scott and Tammy Whiting. Board of Director member absent: Stephanie Ord

The following matters were discussed, considered, and decided at the meeting:

The meeting was called to order at 8:30am.

1. The Adopted budget for the 2021 – 22 school year was presented. Laura Davis (Craig) made a motion to approve the Adopted budget, Jacquelyn Scott seconded the motion. A vote was held and the motion was passed 4 – 0.
2. The Officers for the Board of Directors were presented:
   1. Tammy Whiting was presented for the position of President of the Board. Rachel Lichtenberger made a motion to approve Tammy Whiting as President, Laura Davis (Craig) seconded the motion. A vote was held and the motion passed 3-0. (Tammy Whiting was recused from voting.)
   2. Rachel Lichtenberger was presented for the position of Secretary of the Board. Jacquelyn Scott made a motion to approve officers for the Board, Laura Davis (Craig) seconded the motion. A vote was held and the motion was passed 3 – 0. (Rachel Lichtenberger was recused from voting.)

The meeting was adjourned at 8:35am.
